Mark L. Shidler - President

Mark L. Shidler Inc. and Midstream Compression Services are led by their president and founder Mark Shidler. Mark has almost four decades of experience in various facets of the petroleum industry. Prior to founding Mark L Shidler Inc. in 1978, Mark worked for several large oil companies, including Getty Oil Company, Ashland Oil Inc., and was a consultant for Occidental Oil Company.

Mark graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas, and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.    

Gregory B. Gregson - Operations Manager and Geologist

Greg has two decades of experience in the petroleum industry as a petroleum geologist, and is a key asset of the Mark L. Shidler Inc. team. Greg's duties include, company land/lease management, evaluation/cash flow analysis of potential acquisitions, and handling of various tasks in the operations and production side of the company.

Greg graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980, with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He is a registered professional geologist in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas. Greg is also a  member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Houston Geological Society.   

Andrew M. Shidler - Vice President, Engineering and Real Estate Special Projects

Andrew provides valuable engineering and operations experience to Mark L. Shidler, Inc. He handles operational cost analysis, workover operations, general state regulatory filings, and economic and engineering evaluation of future acquisitions and drilling opportunities. Andrew is also responsible for analyzing future real estate acquisitions and property management.

Andrew graduated from The University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Additionally, Andrew holds a FAA pilot certificate with single and multi engine instrument ratings along with complex and high performance endorsements. He is Mark L. Shidler, Inc.'s corporate pilot.

Jeffrey H. Shidler - Vice President, Land and Administration

Jeffrey supervises land and contract matters for the company and is also responsible for strategic planning, risk management and investment decisions. He has been involved in all aspects of acquisitions, divestitures, farm-outs, and all financial decisions since 2003.

Jeffrey graduated from University of Texas at Austin with honors and earned a Master of Business Administration in finance with honors from the University of Houston. He is a member of the IPAA and TIPRO.

Clifford L. Cheadle - Accounting Manager

Clifford is a valued member of the Mark L. Shidler Inc. staff, and has many years of oil and gas accounting experience. He is responsible for managing all of Mark L. Shidler Inc.'s and Midstream Compression Services Inc.'s accounting activities, including financial statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, division orders, state severance tax filings, monthly production reports, cash flow management, joint interest billing, and owner relations. 

Nancy B. Pousson - Accountant

Nancy has many years of accounting and data management experience and is primarily responsible for revenue accounting and production accounting. She also handles all state and regulatory filings for our operated wells.

Nancy graduated from Steven F. Austin University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
